Small fires are created in an enclosed space with aromatic woods and fragrant herbs such as Mastic, Myrtle , Stone Pine, Cypress Tree and Konison. The smoke produced by these fires coats the tobacco and infuses its own flavor. Latakia is the key ingredient in English/Balkan pipe blends. Latakia is used primarily as a spice tobacco.
